Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 28.04.2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") sets out the industries and conditions under which the click fraud detection and prevention service (the "Service") provided by ClickSambo OÜ ("ClickSambo," "we," or "us") may be used. Any individual or legal entity (the "User") who registers for or uses the Service confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to this Policy, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between the two documents regarding prohibited or restricted industries, the provisions of this Policy shall prevail.
1. Purpose of the Policy
ClickSambo is a SaaS solution that helps advertisers obtain qualified traffic on Google Ads and similar platforms by detecting and preventing invalid clicks and click fraud. The Service must be used in compliance with applicable advertising network policies, Google Ads guidelines, the laws of the Republic of Estonia, the laws of the User's jurisdiction, and general business ethics.
The aim of this Policy is to safeguard ClickSambo's brand reputation, existing customer base, payment infrastructure providers and advertising platform partnerships.
2. Prohibited Industries and Activities
Websites and mobile applications operating in the following sectors are strictly prohibited from using the ClickSambo Service:
- Betting, gambling and games of chance: Whether licensed or not — sports betting, casino, slot, poker, bingo, virtual betting, lottery and raffle sites, as well as their affiliate or referral sites.
- Adult content: All 18+ content, including nudity-based image/video sharing platforms, and adult dating platforms.
- Fraud and deceptive marketing: Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, "get-rich-quick" offers, fake invoice/payment requests, phishing sites, sale of counterfeit goods or services, and business models relying on fabricated reviews.
- Illegal drugs, prescription medication and controlled substances (including unlicensed online pharmacy operations).
- Unauthorised online sale of weapons, ammunition, explosives and their components.
- Copyright-infringing content: Pirated software, pirated film/series, cracked license keys, and sale of counterfeit branded goods.
- High-risk or manipulative crypto-asset marketing: Unlicensed ICO/IDO promotion, promotion of projects with a history of "rug pulls," and investment sites guaranteeing returns.
- Hate speech, terrorist propaganda, child sexual abuse material and any other content that violates human dignity.
The list above is not exhaustive. ClickSambo, at its sole discretion, may extend the scope of this Policy to other activities with a comparable risk profile.
3. Restricted / Pre-Approval Industries
Registration requests from prospective Users operating in the following sectors will not be activated until a pre-approval review is completed. To open an account in these sectors, the User must submit documentation evidencing the legality of their activity to [email protected]:
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device marketing (relevant license/authorisation required).
- Financial services, credit advisory, forex brokerage and investment advisory (license from the relevant authority required).
- Tobacco, e-cigarette and alcohol sales (age-verification mechanism and compliance with local regulations required).
- Licensed crypto-asset service providers (MiCA, FinCEN, or equivalent authorisation).
- Dating platforms (provided they do not host adult content).
- Fundraising platforms acting on behalf of non-profit organisations (official registration certificate required).
4. Registration, Review and Approval Process
Every registration request submitted to ClickSambo is subject to automated and/or manual review. The process consists of the following stages:
- a) Automated check: The domain provided at registration is evaluated by ClickSambo's technology stack based on content, category, and risk score.
- b) Manual review: Applications flagged during the automated check, or those falling within Section 3, are reviewed manually by our team.
- c) Documentation request: Where the User is required to demonstrate that their activity does not fall within the prohibited categories listed in Section 2, supporting documents — such as tax registration, trade registry extract, certificate of activity, or the relevant sectoral license — are requested via [email protected].
- d) Decision: After reviewing the submitted documents, ClickSambo retains sole discretion to approve, conditionally approve, or reject the membership. The decision is communicated to the User via the email address provided at registration.
Reviews are typically completed within 1–3 business days. This period may be extended in cases of incomplete documentation or additional verification needs.
5. Termination of Membership
If, after registration, a User is found to be operating in any of the prohibited sectors defined in Section 2:
- The membership shall be suspended immediately and without prior notice.
- Access to the Service shall be terminated and the tracking code (Client Code) on the User's domain shall be deactivated.
- No refund shall be issued for the relevant billing period; refund requests will be handled in accordance with the refund policy set out in the Terms of Service.
- Where the breach is of a serious nature or gives rise to a legal obligation, ClickSambo reserves the right to report the matter to the competent authorities.
If the User believes that their activity does not fall within the prohibited sectors under this Policy, they may submit an appeal — together with supporting documents (tax registration, trade registry extract, sectoral license, sample service agreement, etc.) — to [email protected] within 14 days of the suspension. Following a review carried out within a reasonable period, ClickSambo may, if it deems appropriate, reactivate the membership.
6. User's Representations and Warranties
By registering with ClickSambo, the User acknowledges, represents and warrants that:
- The domain or application registered does not fall within the prohibited or restricted categories listed in Sections 2 and 3 of this Policy;
- Their activity complies with applicable local laws, Google Ads policies, and international advertising standards;
- Where ClickSambo requests documentation regarding the User's activity, the User shall provide such documentation in full and in accordance with the truth;
- Should the nature of the activity change in the future (for example, an e-commerce site beginning to sell adult content, or becoming an unlicensed betting affiliate), the User shall promptly notify ClickSambo of such change;
- A breach of this Policy constitutes just cause for the termination of membership, and the User shall not seek any compensation from ClickSambo on this ground.
7. Amendments to the Policy
ClickSambo reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. Material changes will be notified by email or through the dashboard. The User's continued use of the Service following such notification shall constitute acceptance of the updated Policy.
