What is invalid click traffic, and why does mobile monitoring matter?
An invalid click is an ad click that doesn’t reflect genuine interest from a real user: repeated clicks from the same IP, requests from data-center and proxy networks, bots, and deliberate clicks from competitors. Advertisers still pay for them but get no visit or conversion in return.
The problem is bigger than most expect. According to ClickSambo’s Turkey Q2 2026 report, 40.1% of tracked Google Ads clicks were invalid — two of every five paid clicks weren’t a real user. What’s more, 87.9% of the flagged invalid clicks still appeared as valid in Google’s own click report. 96.1% of clicks from data-center networks were invalid.
