What Type of Data ClickSambo Collect?

ClickSambo is engineered to protect your ad campaigns using only anonymous and pseudonymous technical data

Our core principle is to provide powerful fraud detection without compromising the privacy of your website visitors.

We never collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) like names, email addresses, or phone numbers from your visitors for the purpose of fraud detection.

Here are the main categories of technical data we collect and why each is important:

Ad Click Information

What we collect: Google Click ID (GCLID), campaign details, ad group, and the keyword that triggered the ad.

Why it's important: This allows us to attribute a click back to a specific ad you are paying for, so we can analyze its quality and context accurately.

Device & Browser Information

What we collect: Our proprietary Device ID and Stable Device ID, browser type and version (User Agent), operating system, and screen resolution.

Why it's important: We combine these signals to create a unique "device fingerprint." This is crucial for identifying repeat offenders and bots, even if they attempt to hide by changing their IP address.

Network & Location Information

What we collect: IP address and network information (ASN - Autonomous System Number).

Why it's important: This helps us determine the geographic location of a click, identify traffic coming from suspicious sources (like data centers and known VPN providers), and detect large-scale attacks from specific internet networks.

On-Site Behavioral Data

What we collect: Timestamps of clicks and subsequent page events, along with high-level engagement metrics.

Why it's important: This data helps us distinguish between the natural Browse behavior of a real human and the robotic, instant actions of a bot.

By cross-referencing these non-personal data points, our system can effectively identify fraudulent patterns and protect your ad spend while fully respecting user privacy.
