What Is Automatic IP Blocking and Why Is It Important?

Updated Date:

Manual vs. Automatic IP Blocking: What’s the Difference?

Blocking fraudulent IP addresses is a core part of ClickSambo’s protection.

ClickSambo gives you two ways to block fraudulent IPs, and both are included in every plan. You can let the system block automatically and still review, block or unblock any IP yourself.

Manual IP Blocking and Unblocking

You stay in full, hands-on control.

ClickSambo analyzes your ad traffic and flags suspicious IP addresses in your dashboard based on their behavior and known fraud signals.

You can review these flagged IPs and decide which ones to block. You can also manually unblock any IP address from your blocklist at any time if you want to allow it again, or block an IP the system hasn’t flagged yet.

Automatic IP Blocking

The system works for you 24/7.

When our system identifies a fraudulent IP based on your click fraud thresholds and detection rules, it automatically adds that IP to the IP exclusion list of your connected Google Ads account, so it stops seeing your ads.

Your role becomes one of oversight: the system acts around the clock, and you always have the final say to override its decisions manually.
