Sessions Tab: Tracking Individual Device Activity

The Devices & Sessions tab allows you to analyze the specific devices and browser sessions linked to an IP address. It helps you trace activity back to a single source, even if the IP address changes.

Session Details Provided

This tab provides a unique profile for each device session, including:

Device ID: A unique fingerprint generated for the visitor's browser and device combination.

Device Profile: The User Agent (browser and OS details) and configured Languages.

Session Timeline: The time of the First and Last Connection, along with the total Duration of the session.

Bot Classification: An automated analysis that answers the question: "Is it a bot?"

Activity Summary: A count of total on-site Events and the number of attributed Ad Clicks from that session.

Application in Fraud Detection

This device-level view is critical for identifying sophisticated fraud.

Its primary purpose is to confirm if a single malicious user or bot is behind suspicious activity, especially in cases of:

IP Rotation: Detecting a single device that is cycling through different IP addresses.

Device-Level Patterns: Linking multiple fraudulent clicks or events back to one unique Device ID.
