How to Use ClickSambo with Billy Grace

Yes, you can and should use ClickSambo's click fraud prevention alongside Billy Grace's AI-driven marketing intelligence.

The two platforms work together to ensure your ad budget is both protected from fraud and optimized for maximum performance.

This guide provides the recommended setup to ensure both platforms work together perfectly in Google Ads without conflict.

The Golden Rule: Separate Fields for Separate Jobs

The key to a successful integration is to use Google Ads' two different URL parameter fields for their intended purposes:

Tracking Template: This field is for redirect-based trackers like ClickSambo that must analyze a click before the user lands on your site.

Final URL Suffix: This field is for parameters that need to be attached directly to your final landing page URL for analytics and attribution platforms like Billy Grace.

Keeping these two functions separate is the best practice for a stable and accurate setup.

Step-by-Step Integration Guide

Prerequisite: Before you begin, have your Billy Grace tracking parameters ready.

You can typically find these in your Billy Grace dashboard or their setup documentation.

Step 1: Set Up the ClickSambo Tracking Template

First, ensure ClickSambo's tracking is correctly placed.

Automatic Setup (Recommended): Follow our standard guide to connect your Google Ads account. Our system will automatically populate the Tracking Template field for you with ClickSambo's Google Ads Tracking Template.

Manual Setup: If using the manual option, paste your full ClickSambo's Google Ads Tracking Template into the Tracking Template field in your Google Ads account settings.

Step 2: Add Billy Grace's Parameters to the Final URL Suffix

In your Google Ads account, navigate to Settings > Account Settings > Tracking

Find the Final URL Suffix field.

Paste the entire tracking parameter string provided by Billy Grace into this box.

Click Save.

Step 3: Check Billy Grace's Settings (Critical Step)

You must ensure that Billy Grace does not automatically override your ClickSambo setup.

Warning: Log in to your Billy Grace account and review its Google Ads integration settings. You must find and disable any feature that automatically manages or overwrites the Tracking Template in Google Ads. If such a feature is left on, Billy Grace may erase your ClickSambo template, disabling your fraud protection. Billy Grace's parameters should only be in the Final URL Suffix.

Step 4: Install Both Website Scripts

Ensure that the JavaScript codes for both ClickSambo and Billy Grace are correctly installed on your website, following each service's specific installation instructions.

Step 5: Test the Integration Thoroughly

In Google Ads, use the "Test" button next to your Tracking Template to check for immediate errors.

Perform a live end-to-end test using Google's Ad Preview and Diagnosis tool.

After your test click, verify that:The click data appears correctly in your ClickSambo dashboard.

The visit and attribution data appear correctly inside your Billy Grace dashboard.

What NOT To Do

Do NOT attempt to manually edit or combine the ClickSambo tracking template with Billy Grace's parameters. Use the two separate fields as instructed.

Do NOT put ClickSambo's redirect template into the Final URL Suffix.

Do NOT put Billy Grace's URL parameters into the Tracking Template.
