Understanding Your Dashboard KPIs and Protection Status

The KPI bar, located just below the domain and date selector, provides an instant summary of your domain's performance and ClickSambo's protection effectiveness.

The top of your ClickSambo dashboard is designed to give you a powerful, at-a-glance summary of your account's health and the direct impact of our protection. This guide breaks down each of these key indicators.

Protection Status

Located next to your domain selector, this status indicator provides immediate confirmation that your setup is active.

✅ Protected: This status means everything is working correctly. Your website tracking codes are installed, your ad account is connected, and ClickSambo is actively monitoring and protecting your campaigns.

⚠️ Action Required: If you see any other status, it may indicate an issue with your setup, such as the tracking codes not being detected on your site or your ad account being disconnected. Please review your setup or contact support if this appears.

The KPI Bar Explained

The main KPI bar provides four crucial metrics that summarize ClickSambo's effectiveness over your selected date range.

Total Fake Clicks Blocked

What it is: This is the total number of individual clicks that ClickSambo identified as fraudulent and blocked.

Why it matters: This number represents the volume of direct threats that were neutralized before they could waste your budget or pollute your analytics data.

Fake Clicks Cleared (%)

What it is: This shows the percentage of your total ad clicks that were identified as fraudulent.

Why it matters: This metric helps you understand the level of fraud "pressure" on your campaigns. A higher percentage doesn't mean your campaigns are performing poorly; it means ClickSambo is successfully filtering out a significant amount of invalid traffic.

Your Cost Per Click (CPC)

What it is: This is the average Cost Per Click (CPC) you pay for your ad campaigns. You can click the "Edit" button next to this metric to set the value yourself.

Why it matters: Keeping this value accurate is essential for a meaningful "Estimated Savings" calculation. We recommend updating it periodically to reflect the average CPC from your Google Ads account.

Estimated Savings

What it is: This is your direct return on investment (ROI). It is calculated by multiplying the Total Fake Clicks Blocked by the CPC you have set.

Why it matters: This figure gives you a clear and tangible estimate of the ad spend that ClickSambo has saved you by preventing fraudulent clicks.

By regularly reviewing these KPIs, you can quickly assess the health of your ad traffic, understand the scale of threats targeting your business, and see the direct financial value of ClickSambo's protection.
