A Guide to Your Dashboard Metrics and Graphs

Beyond the main KPIs, your ClickSambo dashboard is filled with charts and graphs designed to give you a deeper, visual understanding of your traffic quality, user behavior, and the nature of the threats we block.

This guide explains how to read and interpret these key dashboard widgets.

Who is Visiting My Site? (Traffic & Fraud Distribution)

These charts provide a quick overview of the devices and browsers used to access your site.

Browser Usage: This pie chart shows a breakdown of the browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) your visitors are using. A sudden, large percentage of traffic from an unusual or outdated browser can sometimes indicate non-human traffic.

Fraud by Device: These progress bars compare the percentage of clean vs. fraudulent traffic across different devices (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet). Use this to quickly spot if a disproportionate amount of fraud is coming from a specific device type.

How is My Traffic Trending Over Time? (The Main Graph)

This interactive graph is your most powerful tool for visualizing traffic patterns and our protection efforts over your selected date range.

Understanding the Data:

AdsCount (Total Ad Clicks): This line represents all raw clicks coming from your connected ad platform before any filtering.

VisitCount (Legitimate Visits): This line shows the actual number of legitimate users who reached your site. In a healthy campaign, this line should closely follow the AdsCount line.

BlockedIP (Blocked IPs): These bars show the number of unique fraudulent IP addresses that ClickSambo blocked each day.

How to Interpret the Graph:

Look for spikes in the BlockedIP bars. When you see these spikes without a corresponding increase in your legitimate VisitCount, it's a clear visual sign that ClickSambo is actively filtering out a fraud attack and protecting your budget.

Where is the Fraud Coming From? (Fraud Insights)

These widgets help you understand the source and nature of the threats targeting your campaigns.

Fraudulent Campaigns: See which of your specific ad campaigns are the biggest targets for invalid traffic.

Fraudulent Countries: This interactive world map highlights the geographical origins of the fraud we've blocked.

Fraud Types: Understand the specific reasons we blocked the clicks (e.g., from a "Data Center," a "Known Bot," or due to "Click Spam" behavior).

What is My Overall Engagement? (Core Traffic Metrics)

These fundamental numbers give you a quick overview of your traffic volume and on-site engagement.

Ad Clicks vs. Landing Page Views: This compares the total ad clicks we've tracked against the number of unique visitors who actually loaded your landing page. A large discrepancy could indicate issues like click spam or users abandoning the page before it loads.

Blocked Clicks: The total number of fraudulent clicks that ClickSambo prevented from being registered as legitimate visits on your site.

Unique Visits & Page Views: See the total number of distinct visitors and the total number of pages they viewed. This helps you understand your real audience size and how engaged they are with your site.
