Understanding the Blocked IPs Report

The Blocked IPs tab, located within the Google Ads analysis section of your dashboard, provides a complete and transparent log of every IP address that ClickSambo has blocked from interacting with your ads.

This report is your central hub for reviewing all automated and manual blocking actions.

From this screen, you can search for specific IPs, sort the data, export it for your records, and manually unblock IPs if needed.

Understanding the Data Table Columns

Each row in the report represents a single blocked IP address. Here is a breakdown of what each column means:

Checkbox Use these checkboxes to select one or more IP addresses. Once an IP is selected, action buttons like "Unblock IP" will appear at the top of the table.

IP Address This is the specific IP address that has been blocked.

Last Click This timestamp shows the exact date and time of the most recent fraudulent click we detected from this IP before it was blocked.

Fraud Type This shows the general category of fraud detected, according to our official classifications (e.g., Over-Threshold, Manual, etc.).

Reason This provides more specific detail about why the IP was blocked. It can be a system-generated reason (e.g., "2 Ad Clicks in 1 Hour(s)") or it will state "User Blocked" if you added it manually.

Detection Source This clearly indicates how the block was initiated. "System" means it was blocked automatically by ClickSambo's protection engine. "Manual" means a user on your team blocked it directly.

Google Status This column confirms the sync status with Google Ads and when it happened. It will typically show "Excluded" along with the date and time the IP was successfully added to an exclusion list.

Google Ads This column identifies exactly where the IP exclusion was applied within your Google Ads account, showing the specific Campaign and Customer IDs affected by the block.

How to Use This Report

To Verify Protection: Regularly scan this list to see the volume and types of threats ClickSambo is automatically protecting you from.

To Investigate an IP: Use the search bar to look up a specific IP address to see if and why it has been blocked.

To Manually Unblock IPs: Select one or more IPs using the checkboxes, then click the "Unblock IP" button that appears at the top of the list. Use this feature with caution, as it will allow the IP(s) to see and click your ads again.

For Your Records: Use the "Export" feature to download a list of all blocked IPs for your own internal analysis or reporting.
