If your ClickSambo dashboard is empty, it typically signals a problem with the integration setup that prevents data from flowing between your ad platform, your website, and your ClickSambo account.
Follow this checklist to find and fix the most common causes.
Are Ads Running? Log into your ad platform (e.g., Google Ads) and verify that your campaigns are enabled, approved, and have an adequate budget.
Are You Getting Clicks? Check your ad platform's reports to confirm that ads are actually receiving clicks. Sometimes low ad performance can be mistaken for a tracking failure.
Navigate to Connections: In your ClickSambo account, go to Account Settings > Connections.
Check the Status:
If you see a "DISCONNECT" button next to your Google Ads account, the connection is active and correct.
If you see a "CONNECT" button, the link has been broken. Click it to re-authenticate and re-establish the connection.
Confirm Installation: Ensure the ClickSambo HTML tracking code is correctly installed on all landing pages that receive ad traffic.
Check the Live Site: Use your browser's developer tools (press F12
and open the "Network" tab) on your live website. Refresh the page and check that the ClickSambo script appears in the list of loaded resources.
Correct Application: Double-check that the ClickSambo Tracking Template has been correctly applied in your Google Ads account at the appropriate level (account, campaign, or ad group).
Check for Typos: Carefully review the template URL for any syntax errors or typos, especially if you have merged it with other tracking parameters.
Navigate to Domain Tracking Setup: In your ClickSambo account, go to Account Settings > Domain Tracking Setup.
Verify Domain: Ensure the correct website domain is listed and activated for tracking.
Perform a Test Click: Click one of your own live ads.
Wait a Few Minutes: Allow some time for the data to process.
Contact Support: If traffic still doesn't appear, please contact the ClickSambo Support team. Let them know you have already completed this troubleshooting checklist to help them resolve your issue more quickly.
