How does the fake click statistics summary work?

Understanding Fake Click Statistics Overview

The Fake Click Statistics overview is designed to provide a high-level, real-time summary of detected fraud and its financial impact on your campaigns.

It consists of three primary components:

Total Fake Clicks This metric shows the cumulative number of clicks that ClickSambo has identified as fraudulent or invalid according to your active detection rules.

Percentage of Fake Clicks (% Cleared) This figure represents the proportion of your total ad traffic that was flagged as fraudulent. It serves as a quick indicator of the overall level of fraudulent activity targeting your campaigns.

Total Estimated Savings This value estimates the total amount of ad spend you have saved by preventing fraudulent clicks.

Calculation: The savings are calculated using the formula: Total Fake Clicks × Average Cost-Per-Click (CPC).

Accuracy: For the most precise savings estimate, we recommend regularly updating the "Average CPC" field in your dashboard to reflect your current campaign costs.
