Your ClickSambo dashboard is a powerful tool for turning data into savings. The most effective way to use it is to follow a "Top-Down" approach: start with the big picture, identify problem areas, drill down for details, and then take decisive action.
Here is a recommended workflow:
Start on your main dashboard for a high-level health check.
What to look for: Review your overall Fraud Rate, Total IPs Blocked, and the main data trends. Are fraudulent clicks increasing or decreasing? Are there any sudden spikes in activity that correspond with a new campaign launch?
Purpose: To get a quick, 30,000-foot view of your account's health.
Next, find out where the fraudulent activity is concentrated.
Where to go: Navigate to the Campaign and Placement reports.
What to look for: Sort your campaigns and placements by Fraud Rate or the number of Invalid Clicks. This will immediately show you which specific campaigns, websites, or mobile apps are the biggest sources of wasteful traffic.
Purpose: To identify your biggest budget leaks.
Where to go: Dive into the Bot Analysis and Fraud Types tabs.
What to look for: Is the invalid traffic mostly from "Potential Bots" or more severe "Pattern Automation"? Are clicks being flagged because they come from data centers or VPNs? The Bot Score Distribution chart will show you the overall risk profile of your traffic.
Purpose: To understand the nature of the threats targeting your campaigns.
Where to go: Navigate to the Visits page.
What to look for: Examine the journey of individual high-risk visitors. Look at their IP address, geographic location, device details, and on-site behavior. Does the data tell a story of a real potential customer or a suspicious bot?
Purpose: To find the specific evidence needed for manual actions and to better understand fraud tactics.
Trust the Automation: For visits that exceed your Bot Probability Threshold, our system automatically adds the source IP to your Google Ads exclusion list. Your main job is to monitor its effectiveness.
Proactively Exclude Bad Placements: If your Placement Report shows a specific website or mobile app consistently sends low-quality traffic (even if not all clicks are flagged as bots), add it to your "Placement exclusion list" in Google Ads yourself. This is a powerful way to manually optimize your campaigns.
Fine-Tune Your Detection Sensitivity: If your analysis shows a lot of "Medium Risk" traffic that looks highly suspicious, you may want to lower your Bot Probability Threshold in the settings to be more aggressive. If you're concerned about blocking legitimate users, you could raise it.
Whitelist Trusted IPs: If you find a specific IP in your Visits log that was blocked but you know is legitimate (e.g., your own office or a key partner), add it to your Trusted IP Whitelist to prevent it from being blocked in the future.
By following this workflow, you can move from simply viewing data to making strategic decisions that continuously improve your ad performance and maximize your return on investment.
