What should I do if the Google Ads access request is pending or I am unable to approve it?

If you've received an invitation to grant Google Ads access (e.g., from ClickSambo's support team or an agency), but it's pending or you're unable to approve it, follow these troubleshooting steps:

Check Your Email:

Look for the invitation email from Google Ads (it might be in your spam/junk folder). The email contains a direct link to accept the request.
Ensure the invitation was sent to the correct Google account email address associated with your Google Ads account.
Log In to the Correct Google Account:

Make sure you are logged into Google with the exact Google account (email address) that owns or has administrative access to the Google Ads account for which the invitation was sent. If you have multiple Google accounts, this is a common mistake.
Check Pending Invitations in Google Ads:

Sign in to your Google Ads account (ads.google.com).
Click the "Tools and settings" icon (wrench icon) in the top right corner.
Under "Setup," click on "Account access and security."
Go to the "Managers" tab (if it's a manager account invitation) or "Users" tab (if it's a direct user invitation).
Look for the pending invitation there and click "Accept" or "Approve".
Verify Your Access Level:

The user attempting to approve the request must have "Admin" access to the Google Ads account. If you only have Standard or Read-Only access, you won't be able to approve new connections.
