Receiving a "support access invitation error" indicates that the attempt to grant us access to your Google Ads account has failed. This is typically an issue within the Google Ads system itself, not with ClickSambo.
Here are the most common causes and how to resolve them.
Common Causes and Solutions
Incorrect Email Address
Cause: A simple typo in the email address is the most frequent reason for failure.
Solution: Carefully verify that the email address you are inviting matches the one provided by ClickSambo exactly. Even a small mistake will cause the invitation to fail.
Insufficient Permissions
Cause: The person sending the invitation from your Google Ads account does not have "Admin" level permissions.
Solution: Ensure the invitation is being sent by a user who has full "Admin" access. You can check user levels under Tools & settings > Account access and security.
Too Many Pending Invitations
Cause: Google Ads may limit the number of open invitations an account can have.
Solution: Go to Tools & settings > Account access and security. Review the Users and Managers tabs and cancel any old, unaccepted invitations that are no longer needed.
Temporary Google Ads Glitch
Cause: Occasionally, the error is due to a temporary issue on Google's end.
Solution: Wait for 15-30 minutes and then try sending the invitation again.
Click the Tools & settings wrench icon (⚙️) in the top menu.
Under "Setup," select Account access and security.
Navigate to the Users tab and click the blue + button.
Enter the exact email address provided by our team.
Set the "Account access level" to Admin.
Click Send Invitation.
If you have followed these steps and the error persists, the issue requires direct assistance from Google. Please contact Google Ads Support for help. You can also inform our support team at support@clicksambo.com
