How to Install ClickSambo on a Squarespace Website

To fully protect your Squarespace site, you must install both ClickSambo tracking codes.

This is done easily using Squarespace's built-in Code Injection feature.

Tracking Code (HEAD Section): Your primary script for real-time analysis.

NoScript Tracking Code (BODY Section): Your essential fallback for 100% coverage.

Important Prerequisite:
The Code Injection feature is a premium feature on Squarespace. You must have a Business, Commerce, Professional, or Premium plan to install third-party code like ClickSambo's.

Step 1: Get Your Tracking Codes

Before you begin, copy both of your unique ClickSambo tracking codes from your dashboard.

Log in to your ClickSambo account.
Navigate to Account > Account Settings > Domain Tracking Setup.
Select your domain and copy both the Tracking Code (HEAD Section) and the NoScript Tracking Code (BODY Section).

Step 2: Add Both Codes via Code Injection

You will use two separate fields in the Code Injection menu to install the codes site-wide.

Log in to your Squarespace account.
From the Home Menu, navigate to Settings > Website > Code Injection.
You will see several text boxes. You will use two of them: Header and Footer.
In the HEADER box, paste your Tracking Code (HEAD Section).
In the FOOTER box, paste your NoScript Tracking Code (BODY Section). (Note: The "Footer" field correctly places this code just before the closing </body> tag, which is the proper location for this script).
Click Save at the top of the page.

Step 3: Verify the Installation

After saving your changes, verify that both codes are loading correctly on your live site.

Open any page of your live website in a new incognito browser window.
Right-click on the page and select "View Page Source".
Confirm the HEAD code: Search the code (Ctrl+F or Cmd+F) for cdn.clicksambo.com. You should find your script inside the <head> section.
Confirm the BODY code: Search again for ping.clicksambo.com. You should find your <noscript> code snippet located towards the end of the page, before the closing </body> tag.

Once you have confirmed both codes are present in the correct locations, your Squarespace site is fully protected by ClickSambo.
