Password Change in ClickSambo
You can change your ClickSambo password at any time from your Account Settings. For your security, the process involves a 3-step verification flow using a unique code sent to your registered email address.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Navigate to Your Profile Settings
- Log in to your ClickSambo dashboard.
- Click on Settings in the top navigation bar.
- From the "Account Settings" menu on the left, ensure the Profile tab is selected.
Start the Password Reset Process
- Find the "Password Change" section at the top of the page.
- Click the Forgot Password button.
- Confirm and Send the Verification Code
- A "Password Reset" pop-up window will appear, displaying your partially masked email address for confirmation.
- Click the Send Code button. This will trigger a secure email containing a verification code to your inbox.
Enter the Verification Code
- Check your email (including your spam/junk folder) for the code from ClickSambo.
- Enter the code into the field provided in the pop-up window and proceed to the next step.
Create Your New Password
- In the final step, you will be prompted to enter and confirm your new, secure password.
- Save your changes to complete the process.
Security Note: This multi-step email verification is a security measure to ensure that only the true owner of the account can change the password. You will not be required to enter your old password.
