How to Disconnect Your Google Ads Account

You have complete control and can disconnect your Google Ads account from ClickSambo at any time. We provide two ways to do this: directly from your ClickSambo dashboard (the easiest method) or from your Google Account settings.

Important: Before You Disconnect

Please be aware that disconnecting your account will have an immediate effect:

  • ClickSambo will instantly lose the ability to analyze your ad traffic and collect new data.
  • Our system will no longer be able to automatically update your IP exclusion lists.
  • All active fraud protection for the disconnected account will stop.

Method 1: From Your ClickSambo Dashboard (Recommended)

This is the simplest and most direct way to manage your connection.

  1. Log in to your ClickSambo account.
  2. Navigate to Account Settings in the main menu on the left.
  3. Select the Connections tab.
  4. You will see your connected Google Ads account listed with a green status indicator.
  5. Click the Disconnect button next to it.
  6. Confirm your choice in the pop-up window.

This action will immediately pause all protection and data syncing for that account. You can easily reconnect it later from this same screen by clicking the Connect button.

Method 2: From Your Google Account Settings

This method revokes access directly from Google's security center and is a good way to review all third-party applications connected to your account.

  1. Go to your Google Account settings by visiting: myaccount.google.com
    • Ensure you are signed in to the specific Google account linked to your Google Ads account.
  2. On the left-hand navigation menu, select the Security tab.
  3. Scroll down to the section titled "Your connections to third-party apps & services" and click on it.
  4. In the list of applications, find and click on ClickSambo.
  5. Click the button labeled "Remove Access".
  6. A final confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Confirm to permanently revoke access.
