Approving manager access allows our automated system to act as a dedicated security guard for your ad campaigns. To do its job effectively, it needs permission to monitor your traffic (read data) and the authority to block threats (update your IP exclusion list).
This connection is made securely via the official Google Ads API, and the "Manager" role is the standard, Google-approved way to grant applications the specific permissions needed for automated protection.
This access enables two essential functions:
What we do: Our system retrieves performance data, such as campaign details and click information (e.g., GCLID
).
Why it's necessary: This allows us to connect each click to its source campaign and keyword, so we can accurately analyze its quality, context, and behavior to detect fraudulent patterns.
What we do: We programmatically add the IP addresses of sources we identify as fraudulent to your campaign's IP exclusion list.
Why it's necessary: This is the core of our protection. This single action is what actively stops bots, competitors, and other malicious sources from seeing and clicking your ads again, directly saving your budget.
Secure Connection: The entire process uses Google's ultra-secure OAuth 2.0 protocol, meaning you never share your password with us.
Limited Permissions: Our access is strictly limited to reading performance data and managing IP exclusion lists. We cannot change your ad creatives, daily budgets, or billing information.
You Remain in Charge: You retain full ownership and control of your account. You can review and revoke our access instantly at any time from your Google Account security settings.
