Does ClickSambo support Smart campaigns?

Can ClickSambo protect Google Ads Smart Campaigns?

Due to platform limitations imposed by Google, providing full, automated click fraud protection for Smart Campaigns is not possible for any third-party service, including ClickSambo.

Here is a clear explanation of why this is the case and what we recommend.

The Challenge with Smart Campaigns

Google designs its Smart Campaigns for extreme simplicity and automation.

In doing so, it removes the essential manual controls that third-party fraud detection tools rely on to function.

The key limitations are:

No Tracking Templates: Smart Campaigns do not allow the use of custom tracking templates. This prevents our system from receiving the detailed, real-time data needed for every ad click.

No IP Exclusions: These campaigns do not support direct IP address exclusions, which is the primary method used to automatically block fraudulent sources from seeing your ads again.

Without the ability to integrate our tracking and blocking mechanisms, our system cannot protect these specific campaigns.

Recommendation for Full Protection

For advertisers who require robust, real-time fraud protection, we strongly recommend using standard Google Ads campaign types such as Search, Display, and Performance Max.

These campaign types are fully compatible with ClickSambo's advanced tracking and automated blocking features, ensuring your ad spend is properly protected.
