How the Google Ads Tracking Template Works

The Google Ads Tracking Template is a URL that acts as an instant analysis checkpoint for your ad clicks.

It allows ClickSambo to analyze key data in real-time before the visitor arrives on your website, all without causing any delay for the user.

The Click Journey

The process is seamless and happens in a fraction of a second:

User Clicks Your Ad ➡️ ClickSambo Analysis (milliseconds) ➡️ User Arrives at Your Landing Page

During that millisecond analysis, Google passes vital data like the unique Google Click ID (gclid) to our system. This allows us to verify the click's legitimacy before the user's page even finishes loading.

How Is It Set Up?

You don't need to do anything manually. When you connect your account, our Automatic Setup configures the Tracking Template for you. We also ensure that Auto-tagging is enabled in your Google Ads account, which is required for this process to function correctly.
